Frederick's of Hollywood
has employed Scott Drudge as the Sr Web Engineer since June of 1999. Working with a very
small web team of creative individuals, Scott and his team have taken Frederick's from a small
Yahoo store selling to a few hundred customers per day to a self-sufficient ecommerce site serving
thousands of customers per day.
Over the years Scott has done everything from graphic design, email creation and distribution, server
configuration, system engineering, network engineering, web design, and full scale coding of the
ecommerce site, which is currently built in ASP.
It's remarkable that only two full-time programmers -- Scott, and
Laura Barrett -- created an ecommerce site of this magnitude. Daily, changes are coded by this web team to
improve and support the needs of the marketing, and site managers. The
Frederick's of Hollywood
site is nearly 100% custom coding.
